Based in Sydney, NSW  we are seeking an experienced and drivenHead of Retail to manage, lead and grow our retail division.  This is a  new role at  Coco & Lola and will  lead our retail division through our growth phase.
The Head of Retail will join Coco & Lola as a leader of change and innovation.   Reporting to our General Manager and company Directors, the successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role leading and growing a high performing team. 

They will  have an in-depth understanding of retail operations and strategy, training and development  and customer experience within an omni-channel retail environment. 

TheHead of Retail will have previous experience in knowing the changes that need to be made in order to influence and create positive outcomes and results. 

Our Head of Retail will be responsible to develop, implement and drive the retail strategy for Coco & Lola, focusing on short and long term business focused solutions that foster growth and development of the Coco & Lola brand, culture and retail experience.

You will have previous experience in people development and be a  genuine and  inspiring leader that sets the tone for excellence within our retail division. 




Role and Responsibilities 
Develop, implement and drive the retail strategy, focusing on sales growth, brand development and operations.

Accountable for driving achievement and success of all financial and company lead  key performance indicators across the retail division. 

Develop, innovate  and implement a customer experience strategy that focuses on delivering a high level of customer service, builds and fosters customer loyalty and maximise  sale opportunities. 

Lead, mentor and grow the wider Coco & Lola retail division  ensuring they are given the knowledge,  motivation, encouragement and business tools to drive achievement and success in their relevant key performance indicators of their role. 

Build and grow our brand and company culture within the retail division, ensuring it is a team that fosters innovation, development, staff succession and retention. 

Streamline, implement and document all retail operation procedures and systems, ensuring best practice for the size and growth of the Coco & Lola retail division and boutique teams. 

Consistently identify and action areas for operational, customer service and in store experience improvements of growth and development. 

Look for opportunities to innovate and have a vision for future growth and development within the Coco & Lola retail division. 

Work closely with the Visual Merchandising Team to ensure all stores needs and requirements are met and presentation is exceeded. This includes overseeing stock consolidations and end of season stock movement plans to meet the expectation of the business. 

Oversee and manage stock and merchandise  loss and prevention strategies within the retail division.  

Oversee and implement the retail operations and strategy for new store openings and retail projects. 

Work cross functionally with our other divisions to refine, improve and develop new opportunities to enhance and evolve our overall customer and retail experience. 

With the support of the People & Culture Manager lead and be responsible for the recruitment, development, internal succession and  review process for the retail division. 

Oversee and manage the development and execution of retail initiatives that support the company growth strategy and retail performance (for example, incentive programmes, training & development initiatives)
