Over the past 12 years  Coco & Lola has built an internationally recognised brand that celebrates Australian designers  and has become an influential fashion retail destination.  Coco & Lola have flagship boutiques located in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth along with an eCommerce store www.cocoandlola.com.au servicing customers in Australia and Internationally. 

Based in our Head Office located in Alexandria, Sydney,  we are seeking an experienced and passionate People and Culture Manager to join our Head Office Team. The successful candidate will ideally have 5+ years of experience in a similar role.


About the Role 

Working in a fast paced and inspiring environment our People and Culture Managerwill define, document,  lead and implement our policies,  procedures,  brand culture and core values company wide. 

In a senior leadership role our
People and Culture Manager work collaboratively with all divisions throughout the Coco & Lola business. Reporting to and supporting our  Directors and General Manager, you will  have proven experience in a similar environment having implemented and defined performance reviews, talent acquisition, recruiting and internal company policies and procedures.  

You will have a proven ability
  to successfully work in an environment of change and growth, to lead people and projects, understand all things HR,  and have the ability to connect and nurture company culture in a fast paced environment with teams spread across Australia.


Overview of Responsibilities 

Manage the Human Resources division within Coco & Lola, ensuring all  policies and procedures are compliant with all government regulations and IR/ER requirements.

Define, document,  lead and implement our policies,  procedures,  brand culture and core values company wide.

Develop, implement and monitor people and culture strategies and procedures across the business. 

Manage the recruiting, onboarding / offboarding, performance management, performance reviews, training and development, career progression and employees relations. 

Support our Directors, General Manager  and the wider management teams within the Coco & Lola business (Retail, eCommerce ect ) with relevant HR advice and assistance as required.

Manage WHS, Workers' Compensation and return-to-work process. 

Ensure all HR policies and procedures and other relevant documents are up-to-date.

Develop strategies to effectively manage the full employment cycle. 

Lead and manage company social events and projects or celebrate the team and bring the company together. 

Nurture our company culture at Coco & Lola with teams based in multiple locations around Australia.

Assist with reviewing new ways to drive improvements in workplace efficiency and productivity

Introduce and manage any cultural initiatives within the Coco & Lola workplace.


Requirements

Posses the appropriate tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Psychology or related discipline with at least 5+ years’ experience in human resources

Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience preferably in a retail environment. 

Extensive knowledge of ER/IR and other relevant employment legislation and Award interpretation. 

Outstanding analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust.
Excellent ability to work professionally under pressure.

Proven experienceworking in fast paced environment, managing multiple projects at one time from start to finish.

Proven ability to successfully operate in an environment of change and growth.
